Delta Institute is working with communities to create the Guiding Principles for Economic Diversification in Pennsylvania to help DEP guide investment opportunities from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative Program covering power plants to provide communities with increased and diversified opportunities. The Commonwealth will make investments to support communities that are impacted by the ongoing energy sector transformation from coal, while prioritizing investment in communities that have been impacted by long-standing environmental pollution. Online Surveys One method of gathering input on the principles is an invitation to individual members of the public and local governments to complete an online survey to share their priorities. Delta Institute is relying on honest, transparent feedback from stakeholders that are directly affected by transitions within the energy escort and environmental justice in these surveys. Delta said its project team will work to ensure your needs, wants and concerns are accurately communicated and incorporated to develop the Guiding Principles for Economic Diversification in Pennsylvania that will ultimately inform how RGGI revenue is invested in communities across the state. -- Click Here for the survey for the public. -- Click Here for the survey for local governments.
