The Center for Water Quality Excellence serving Lancaster and York counties held an open house on September 30 at their storefront office 430 Walnut Street, Suite 303 in Columbia, Lancaster County.

The support center is being set up to help farmers, local governments, businesses, and organizations better understand and navigate planning, implementation, and funding opportunities in urban and agricultural stormwater management in Lancaster and York counties.

October Is Buffer Month!

Penn State Extension is joining the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council, who declared October as Riparian Buffer Month, as an opportunity to build awareness and familiarity of forested riparian buffers while sharing the applicability of these sustainable practices in a variety of settings.  Read more here.
