Bucknell University will hold its 16th River Symposium November 5-6 at the Elaine Langone Center on the campus of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Union County. The symposium brings together academics, consultants, state, federal, and regional agencies, conservation groups, and the public to discuss ongoing scientific research and innovative projects, to share ideas, and to increase awareness of conservation efforts to restore watersheds throughout the mid-Atlantic region. The goal of the Symposium is to draw together people from all walks of life who share a common interest in rivers, watersheds, communities and the connections therein. This year’s event will highlight and promote collaborative partnerships that focus on improving the health and resilience of streams and aquatic ecosystems, from the headwaters to the bay. Bucknell is preparing to host this year’s symposium as an in-person event so that all individuals onsite — attendees, speakers, staff, vendors, and venue personnel — remain safe and comfortable. Creating a safe, worry-free symposium experience is our top priority. Call For Abstracts Abstracts are being sought for oral presentations and posters covering a wide range of projects and research topics. All interested parties, including faculty, students, professionals, and regulators, are invited to present. The deadline for submissions is October 18. Click Here to make submissions.
