FEMA Now Accepting Applications For 2 Community Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grant Programs

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is set to begin accepting applications for two community hazard mitigation assistance programs on September 30-- Flood Mitigation Assistance and Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities grants.

The deadline for applications is January 28.

FEMA’s two competitive mitigation grant programs provide states, local communities, tribes and territories funding for eligible mitigation activities to strengthen our nation’s ability to build a culture of preparedness by reducing disaster losses and protecting life and property from future disaster damage.
