The PA Resources Council will host a free Recycling and Waste Reduction webinar on November 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The online workshop will answer common questions surrounding recycling issues – such as curbside collection, hard-to-recycle materials and pharmaceutical disposal – and explain how to easily reduce the amount of waste generated. “This free one-hour webinar provides practical tips for simplifying life, whether it’s quickly sorting materials for trash and recycling, knowing to call the state’s recycling hotline or stopping the onslaught of junk mail that arrives in your mailbox,” according to PRC Education Program Coordinator Nancy Martin. “By taking part in a one-hour webinar, individuals can learn general guidelines for which materials to leave curbside, which items to toss into the trash and what options are available for disposing of hard-to-recycle and specialty materials.” While the Recycling & Waste Reduction webinar is free, pre-registration is required by visiting the PRCs Webinars webpage or sending an email to: nancym@prc.org.
