PA Resources Council Hosts Jan. 18 Recycling & Waste Reduction Webinar

Kick off the New Year by taking part in a free one-hour webinar providing practical tips for simplifying life.

The Pennsylvania Resources Council’s free Recycling & Waste Reduction webinar will take place on Tuesday, January 18, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The online workshop will answer common questions surrounding recycling issues – such as curbside collection, hard-to-recycle materials and pharmaceutical disposal – and explain how to easily reduce the amount of waste generated.

While the Recycling & Waste Reduction webinar is free, pre-registration is required by visiting PRC’s Webinars webpage or emailing nancym@prc.org.

“This free one-hour webinar provides practical tips for simplifying life, whether it’s quickly sorting materials for trash and recycling, knowing to call the state’s recycling hotline or stopping the onslaught of junk mail that arrives in your mailbox,” according to PRC Education Program Coordinator Nancy Martin.  “By taking part in a one-hour webinar, individuals can learn general guidelines for which materials to leave curbside, which items to toss into the trash and what options are available for disposing of hard-to-recycle and specialty materials.”
