PA Interfaith Power & Light, PA Jewish Earth Alliance Jan. 19 Virtual Building Climate Resilience In Our Own Communities Program

PA Interfaith Power & Light and the PA Jewish Earth Alliance will host a January 19 virtual program on Building Climate Resilience In Our Own Communities from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The program will feature inspirational spiritual remarks by Donna Kochirka and presentations to illustrate how communities can become more resilient by--

-- Mark Smith and Greg Williams: Urban and Rural Tree Planting Efforts;

-- Judy Wicks: Local sourcing of materials and building local self-reliance; and

-- Open Ministries initiative in Pittsburgh to install solar panel on front line homes.

A Q & A with presenters and participants will follow on what they are doing as individuals or congregations to make our communities more climate resilient

This will be an uplifting program and should inspire individuals, Green Teams within congregations and communities to participate in building climate resilience.
