The Penn State/DCNR Forest Health, Insect and Disease Virtual Update will be held on March 17 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. OR 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

An update will be provided on the status of Pennsylvania's forest insect and disease problems, along with a talk about the health effects of pesticides.

You will learn--

-- Valuable updates concerning current forest health practices and threats facing Pennsylvania’s forests

-- Strengthen participants' knowledge and understanding of the impacts that insects, diseases, invasive plants, and other forest health issues have on forests

-- Inform current management practices and control methods implemented to maintain and/or improve forest health

Several different professional education credits are available for this program.
