Friends Of Heinz Refuge Hosting 4-Part Webinar Series On Preventing Plastic Pollution Starting March 9

The Friends of Heinz Refuge in Philadelphia are hosting a 4-part webinar series on Preventing Plastic Pollution starting March 4.

The webinars will give perspectives on how to prevent and reduce plastic pollution in the waters of the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge-- where it comes from, how to collect data, the role that surveys, cleanups and policies plan and how to engage with people about this problem.

The webinars will be held on these dates starting at Noon--

-- March 9: Putting the Problem In Perspective

-- March 16: Policy and Partnerships Between Municipalities and Businesses

-- March 23: Plastics Monitoring and Removal Methods

-- March 30: Prevention Using Social Science Best Practices

Who should attend? - concerned citizens, scientists, watershed managers, outreach specialists, advocates and others interested in finding solutions.
