Join the South Mountain Research Corps for the second South Mountain Science Summit on April 29 at the Big Hill Ciderworks in Gardners, Adams County from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The summit will feature presentations of important research conducted here in the South Mountain Landscape and will also help define regional research priorities for the next grant cycle.

This is also intended to be a gathering where students, faculty, land managers, planners and land use professionals can meet, network, and envision the future of science and research in South Mountain country.

The program will include a welcome from DCNR Secretary Cindy Adams-Dunn and will feature a full afternoon of presentations and discussions on a variety of important environmental, geoscience, and historical/archaeological topics.

The South Mountain Research Corps and Science Summit is an initiative of the South Mountain Partnership. SMRC is a collaborative research program that supports academic institutions and the existing and emerging natural and cultural resource conservation efforts throughout the South Mountain landscape.
