The Earth Quaker Action Team (EQAT) is planning a 40-mile walk on April 18 to 22 that follows the money upstream from destructive industries in Chester to the Malvern headquarters of Vanguard, one of the largest global investors in companies causing climate change.

On the way, people of diverse faiths, students, elders, Vanguard customers, and other partners will visit local areas already impacted by climate change and protest at Chase Bank, a major funder of fossil fuel companies, in which Vanguard is a top shareholder.

EQAT is working in collaboration with local organizations like Chester Residents Concerned for Quality Living, Exodus Alliance, and Eastwick Friends and Neighbors Coalition.

On Earth Day-- April 22-- we will end with an action including civil disobedience at Vanguard Headquarters.

EQAT is demanding that Vanguard vote for climate-friendly shareholder resolutions in the short run, and over time, move its investments out of fossil fuel and forest-destroying companies, if those firms don't come up with a plan to transition out of climate destruction.

For more information on times, locations, and evening programming, visit EQAT’s Vanguard’s Big Climate Problem Walk webpage.
