The Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences will hold a May 18 Collection Connection webinar on Utility Scale Solar Energy - Consideration and Impacts from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Agricultural Sciences Dean Rick Roush will be joined by Tom Murphy, Director of Penn State’s Marcellus Center for Outreach and Research, for a discussion on utility scale solar energy development in Pennsylvania. 

They will address landowner issues related to leasing options, current legislative initiatives, and how their organizations are collaborating to collectively inform stakeholders as this emerging type of energy production expands rapidly in the Commonwealth and beyond.
