May 18 Webinar: Learn More About Funding The Growing Greener Program For The Next Generation

Five environmental organizations are hosting a May 18 webinar on Funding The Growing Greener Program for the Next Generation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Roughly a third of Pennsylvania's waterways are too polluted for swimming or eating fish that are caught. [Read more here.] With a problem of that scale, we need programs that are going to meet those challenges -- and the Growing Greener program can do that. This state program has funded streamwide tree plantings, addressed acid mine drainage, and given farmers the training and tools to keep significant levels of pollutants out of our water. Join us to learn more about one of the least-known and most important conservation programs in PA! We will highlight projects throughout the state that were made possible by Growing Greener and catch you up on a new opportunity to keep this program funded for years to come.
