The Department of Environmental Protection is inviting comments on a proposed change to the Title V Air Quality Permit for the United Refining Company refinery in Warren County to add an emission limit for sulfur dioxide.  (PA Bulletin, page 3700)

Copies of the application, the Department’s analysis and other documents used in the evaluation of the application are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Department of Environmental Protection, 230 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Any person wishing to provide the Department of Environmental Protection with additional information they believe should be considered prior to the issuance of this permit may submit the information to the Department at the address shown previously.

A 30-day comment period, from the date of this publication, will exist for the submission of comments.

Each written comment must contain the name, address and telephone number of the person submitting the comments, identification of the proposed permit (specify Permit # TV 62-00017) and a concise statements regarding the relevancy of the information in the proposed permit or objections to issuance of the permit.

Public Hearing

A public hearing may be held, if the Department, in its discretion, decides that such a hearing is warranted based on the information received.
