The Keystone Trails Association urges you to take advantage of a variety of hiking experiences and volunteer for trail care events across the state this summer and fall.

-- July 21: Susquehanna River Adventure - Dauphin County

-- August 4: Rambles With Executive Director Brook Lenker - Dauphin County

-- August 10: Rambles With Executive Director Brook Lenker - Lancaster County

-- August 26-28: Allegheny National Forest Weekend - Warren County

-- August 26-28: Building With Rock Trail Maintenance Training

-- September 10: KTA Trail Challenge - Lancaster County

-- September 23-25: Quehanna Elk Quest - Elk, Clearfield Counties

-- September 25 - October 5: Barcelona And Andorra Spain

-- September 30 - October 3: Black Forest Trail Slackpack - Pine Creek Gorge

-- October 14-25: Fall Hiking Weekend - Lewisburg

Trail Care Events

The Trail Care Program is for all ages and abilities, with no prior experience or special skills necessary.

If you can handle a pair of loppers or wield a paintbrush, then your volunteer efforts will be much appreciated by everyone in the hiking community.

-- July 14-17: Allegheny Front Trail, Black Moshannon State Park

-- August 18-21: Thunder Swamp Trail System, Delaware State Forest

-- September 15-18: Bucktail Path, Elk State Forest

-- October 1: Gifford Pinchot State Park

-- October 27-30: Pinchot Trail System, Pinchot State Forest

The Keystone Trails Association, a volunteer-directed, public service organization, is a federation of membership organizations and individuals dedicated to providing, preserving, protecting, and promoting recreational hiking trails and hiking opportunities in Pennsylvania, and to representing and advocating for the interests and concerns of the Pennsylvania hiking community.
