Highlights of the environmental and energy notices in the latest PA Bulletin-- The Environmental Quality Board published final regulations in the September 10 PA Bulletin making changes to coal refuse disposal requirements. The DEP Board Of Coal Mine Safety published final regulations prohibiting electronic liquid-vaporizing devices in underground bituminous coal mines in the September 10 PA Bulletin. The Department of Environmental Protection and PA Infrastructure Investment Authority published a notice in the September 10 PA Bulletin listing environmental assessments approved for PennVEST funding consideration. The Department of Transportation issued an invitation to apply for Multimodal Transportation Fund Grants to invest in a variety of multimodal projects, including funding for bicycle and pedestrian improvements.
