EPA Grants to Assess and Cleanup Petroleum Contaminated Sites

Under the federal Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act communities can apply for grants to assess and cleanup brownfield sites contaminated by petroleum products. The deadline for applications is November 12. In 2003, EPA awarded close to $23 million for the assessment and cleanup of petroleum-contaminated brownfields.
