Alliance For The Chesapeake Bay First-Ever 24-Hour Volunteer Tree Planting Relay In PA, MD, DC Oct. 28-29

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay has organized the first-ever 24-hour Volunteer Tree Planting Relay in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C. on October 28-29. The Treelay initiative will hold 6 tree plantings around the clock in Pennsylvania and one planting each hosted by teams in Maryland and Washington, D.C. The Treelay initiative hopes to plant 3,820 trees in Adams, Cumberland, Lancaster and York counties The Pennsylvania plantings will be held-- -- October 28: Lancaster County - 400 trees, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. -- October 28/29: York County - 300 trees, 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. -- October 29: Lancaster County- 185 trees, 2:00 to 6:00 a.m. -- October 29: Lancaster County - 495 trees, 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. -- October 29: Cumberland County - 1,375 trees, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. -- October 29: Adams County - 1,560 trees, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Click Here to register and for more information.
