DCNR Conservation & Natural Resources Council Meets Sept. 28 To Hear Updates On 3 New State Parks, Utility-Scale Solar Facility Guidance, Trails Program

DCNR’s Conservation and Natural Resources Council is scheduled to meet September 28 to hear updates on three new state parks and new utility-scale solar facility guidance. Tom Ford, Director, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, will provide an update on current developments with PA's Trail Program, including closing important trail gaps, and a look ahead at the future priorities of the trails strategic plan. There will also be a general update on agency activities, a legislative report from DCNR and reports from CNRAC work groups. Annual Report CNRAC recently submitted its 2021-22 annual report to Gov. Public Comment There will be two opportunities for public comment at the meeting. If you are interested in presenting comments, please advise by email to kharris@bridgeconsultingcorp.com no later than 5 p.m. on September 27. You can provide comments at the beginning of the meeting or at the end of the meeting. You may also provide comments or questions after the meeting by emailing the same address or through the Council's website.
