Presentation Proposals Wanted For 2023 Watershed Forestry Summit June 13-15

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy are hosting the 2023 Watershed Forestry Summit on June 13-15 ! The Summit brings together over 300 restoration and conservation professionals, decision makers, and volunteers to share the latest information on forest buffers and lawn conversion practices, from implementation to outreach and more. Attendees come away inspired and empowered by the knowledge, connections, and stories shared at this conference. Key elements of the 2023 Watershed Forestry include: -- Optional field trip on June 13 -- Breakout and keynote presentations on June 14 and 15 -- Poster sessions -- Lunchtime roundtables -- Networking activities The 2023 Summit will be held in-person, although the location has not yet been selected. There will be no virtual component of the event. Presentation Proposals The Summit hosts are seeking presentation proposals for 45-minute breakout sessions that will share innovations, address hot topics, celebrate diverse and inclusive efforts, and facilitate discussion and application.
