The Environmental Quality Board published proposed regulations for comment that would amend Chapters 109 and 110 to require public water supply agencies and hydropower facilities to report the amount of water they withdraw to support the development of the State Water Plan. The IRRC also took other actions, here’s the rundown….

The Independent Regulatory Review Commission published its formal order related to DEP’s mercury emissions reduction regulation and also acted on two other regulations at its meeting this week: it approved the Department of Agriculture’s Commercial Manure Hauler and Broker Certification final rule and the Environmental Quality Board final rule changing the stream designations for Newtown Creek and other streams was deemed approved.
