PA Technical Assistance Program Highlights Upcoming Pollution Prevention Roundtables, Clean Energy Transition, Other Educational Programs For Businesses

The Penn State PA Technical Assistance Program puts pollution prevention, transition to clean energy and other issues in the spotlight in upcoming education programs--

-- March 23: TEC Talk: Energy Technologies & Transitions: This forum will focus on industry trends towards decarbonization through: Renewable energy technologies being deployed locally PPL’s research and development initiatives Technical assistance provided by the PA Solar Center Penn State Hazleton’s unique engineering program.  Penn State Hazleton, Hazleton.  2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

-- May 10: Southwestern PA Industry Roundtable: Pollution Prevention For Metals Manufacturing & Fabrication. The Corner LaunchBox, New Kensington, Westmoreland County.  8:00 a.m. to Noon.

-- May 18: Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG): What Small Businesses Need To Know Webinar.  The webinar will outline what SMEs need to know about ESG and discuss steps organizations can take to create and implement an internal ESG program to be better prepared for this new corporate standard. 11:00 a.m. to Noon.

-- May 24: Southeastern PA Industry Roundtable: Pollution Prevention For Food Manufacturing.  This in-person industry roundtable will be focused on Pollution Prevention (P2) tools and training needs that are unique to food & beverage manufacturing. Gaige Building, Penn State Berks, Reading. 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
