Former DEP Secretaries Invited To Share Their Experiences Protecting Pennsylvania's Environment With Acting Secretary Negrin

On March 24, Acting DEP Secretary Richard Negrin invited former Department of Environmental Protection Secretaries to an informal lunch "so I could learn from their shared experiences working to protect Pennsylvania's environment."

"We discussed common challenges and goals at DEP, went over some best practices and their uniquely informed advice for me in my new role.

"They shared a sense of honor for having served in this important role and many noted that it was the highlight of their distinguished careers.

"They all expressed their admiration for the commitment of the DEP staff.

"It was great to learn from each of these former secretaries! Feeling so appreciative."

The former Secretaries attending the meeting in the photo included: Christopher Abruzzo, Katie McGinty, Mike Krancer-- Richard Negrin-- Jim Seif, David Hess and John Hanger.
