Environmental Quality Board Meets April 11 To Consider Radiological Health Fee Increases, Final Stream Redesignations, Noncoal Mining Regs

The Environmental Quality Board is scheduled to hold its first meeting of 2023 on April 11 to consider three final rulemakings--

-- Radiological Health Program Fee Increases covering x-ray and other radiation-producing machines (10,400), 145 accelerator licenses, 375 vendors and 800 specific and general licenses issued to radioactive material users.

-- Stream Redesignation Package Including Dunbar Creek and other watersheds.

-- Noncoal Mining Regulation clarification and corrections.

The meeting will be held in Room 105 Rachel Carson Building starting at 9:00 a.m.  Visit the Board webpage for options to join the meeting remotely.
