Environmental Quality Board Approves Radiological Health Fee Increases, Final Stream Redesignations, Noncoal Mining Regs

On April 11, the Environmental Quality Board approved these three final rulemakings-- -- Radiological Health Program Fee Increases covering x-ray and other radiation-producing machines (10,400), 145 accelerator licenses, 375 vendors and 800 specific and general licenses issued to radioactive material users. The final regulation increases fees by a total of $1,618,410 to avoid funding deficits starting in FY 2024-25. -- Stream Redesignation Package Including Dunbar Creek and other watersheds. -- Noncoal Mining Regulation clarification and corrections.
