Reminder: National Fish & Wildlife Foundation Accepting Applications For America The Beautiful Challenge Grants

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation recently announced the availability of funding for its America the Beautiful Challenge grants.   The deadline to apply is April 20.

The federally-funded program is expected to award about $116 million nationwide to conserve, connect, and restore land, water, and wildlife. Match and program requirements vary depending on the applicant and federal funding source.

Although the eligible funding categories for land trusts and municipalities are narrow (e.g. work near military installations, Allegheny National Forest, or certain species habitats), this is a significant opportunity for those that can meet these criteria.

Visit the NFWF America the Beautiful Challenge webpage for more information.
