House Consumer Protection Committee Reports Out Solar Energy Decommissioning Bills For Rereferral To House Environmental Committee

On April 25, the House Consumer Protection, Technology & Utilities Committee reported out two bills setting standards for utility-scale solar energy facility decommissioning with a recommendation to re-refer them to the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee. The bills include House Bill 925 (Rapp-R-Warren) and Senate Bill 211 (Yaw-R-Lycoming). The Senate passed Senate Bill 211 in March by a vote of 26 to 13. Read more here.
