Penn State Extension Hosts Virtual Fundamentals Of Carbon Capture And CO2 Flooding Workshop June 27

On June 27, Penn State Extension will host a virtual workshop on the Fundamentals Of Carbon Capture And CO2 Flooding from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

This webinar will focus on the reservoir, well design, and surface facilities involved in carbon capture facilities. Of particular interest, we will discuss the screening of locations and the economics, including the USA 45Q tax credit incentive.

The presenters will be Dr. Lanny Schoeling, President of EOR Consulting LLC, and Jonathan Laughner, Extension Educator.

The workshop is based on Dr. Lanny Schoeling's extensive research and practical experience in the industry across North America and internationally.

Energy policymakers and international energy regulators would benefit from this program.
