Woodland Stewardship Network Conference

Join us for a 2-hour webinar to learn about Woodland Stewardship Networks, an approach to advancing forest stewardship and active management among private forest landowners by focusing outreach and assistance to “Networks” of neighboring properties.

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay piloted the approach in 2017 and has since assisted scores of landowners in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia in getting updated forest management plans and beginning active stewardship on thousands of acres of woodland.

Woodland Stewardship Networks have proven to be an effective and efficient way of reaching private forest landowners and helping them towards forest stewardship, no matter their property size.

The webinar will include case studies and panels from consulting foresters and governmental agency partners who have worked with the program.
