PA Resources Council Hosts June 27 Electronics Waste Recycling Collection In Chester County

The Pennsylvania Resources Council will host an e-waste recycling collection event on June 27 in Chester County to provide area residents with a convenient and cost-effective method of responsibly disposing of televisions, computers and other electronic equipment.

The e-waste collection will take place on Tuesday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Warwick County Park, 191 County Park Rd., Pottstown, PA 19465.

Participants will pay a fee to dispose of some materials (such as televisions and computer monitors) while other items (such as cell phones and laptops) will be accepted for free:

-- Pay For Disposal: televisions, computer monitors and printers

-- Free Disposal: cell/home phones, computer towers and peripheral equipment (keyboards, laptops, mice), video game consoles/DVD players, vacuum cleaners and other electronics (see webpage for a complete list of items).

Participants must register in advance at PRC’s Collection Events webpage or by calling 610-353-1555 x3.

This 2023 e-waste collection event is sponsored by Fox Rothschild LLP, Chester County and Chester County Parks + Preservation in partnership with Covanta Environmental Solutions.
