The PA Conservation Heritage Project recently added a biography of John Arway, former Executive Director of the Fish and Boat Commission, to their collection of stories about Pennsylvania’s conservation leaders.

Away promoted a 'Resource First' policy and revived the tagline used by legendary Commission Executive Director Ralph W. Abele-- "Do Your Duty And Fear No One."

The PA Conservation Heritage Project website provides a unique way to learn about Pennsylvania's remarkable history of conservation.

Visitors can access interviews, a timeline and documentaries about prominent Pennsylvania  conservationists.

There are easy to use educational materials, including discussion questions and facts sheets to use when showing the documentaries.

Engage in with short conservation vignettes or read a summary of an oral interview contained on the website.
