The Schuylkill Action Network will hold its 20th SANniversary Celebration on November 2 at the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Montgomery County from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Celebrate 20 years of improving Schuylkill River water quality at this special event, featuring--

-- SAN Stories Premiere: Relive moments and memories that have shaped our organization through a the voices of our partners in a touching video presentation.
-- Workgroup Updates 'Then and Now': Discover the evolution of our initiatives and the roadmap for the future.
This event is open to all, whether you are new to the SAN or have been here through it all!

So far, the Network has helped permanently protect 17.5 percent of the watershed, invested $14 million in abandoned mine drainage treatment projects and leveraged $9.2 million in restoration projects.
