DEP Sets Nov. 13 Hearing On Water Permits For River Pointe Warehouse Project In Northampton County

The Department of Environmental Protection will hold a hearing November 13 on NPDES Stormwater and Chapter 105 Encroachment permit applications for the River Pointe Logistics Center project in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County. (PA Bulletin, page 6267) Representatives from the Department’s Waterways & Wetlands Program, the Northampton County Conservation District and River Pointe Logistics Center, LLC will be in attendance. The public hearing will be held at the Bangor Area High School Theater located at 187 Five Points Richmond Road, Bangor from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Department requests that individuals wishing to testify at the hearing submit a written notice of intent to Colleen Connolly, Community Relations Coordinator at: cconnolly@pa.gov or call 570-826-2035. The NPDES permit application documentation and conceptual plans are available for review at the Northampton County Conservation District Office, 14 Gracedale Ave, Nazareth, PA 18064 at 610-829-6276 and/or the DEP Northeast Regional Office, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA (570) 826-2511.
