PennDOT Announces Draft Priority Areas For Funding Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities

On October 5, the Department of Transportation announced draft priority areas for funding electric vehicle charging facilities under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program.

The interactive map displays the corridor-groups that will compete for Round 1A funding awards, the priority level of each corridor-group, and the 1-mile polygons off of each exit and highway segment so viewers know which locations are eligible to pursue funding.

While this map is currently a draft, PennDOT will not remove any priority-groups nor decrease the priority level of any priority-groups displayed on the Round 1A map.

PennDOT reserves the right to add corridor-groups or increase the priority level of corridor-groups up until the Round 1A Funding Opportunity program guidelines are officially released.
