Montgomery County-based ELEDLights Named Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance Efficiency Champion

On October 4, the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance celebrated National Energy Efficiency Day by announcing ELEDLights as their 2023 Energy Efficiency Champion.

ELEDLights, known for its commitment to enhancing the energy efficiency of lighting in local businesses and organizations, was happy to receive the award.

Kyle Mann, the President of ELEDLights, conveyed the company's vision and mission--

“Energy efficiency is a big concept that can be hard to visualize. But our team helps people see what it could mean for them. With layouts, designs, and simple breakdowns of the numbers, we show clients what their current lighting system is costing them in energy and how much better it will be with an energy efficient upgrade. And then, importantly, we make it affordable. With a mix of fair pricing and energy efficiency rebates that we help find and process, local businesses can boost their sustainability at very low upfront costs.”

The annual Energy Efficiency Champion Awards recognize outstanding contributions to the advancement of energy efficiency policy and initiatives that align with KEEA's mission. One business and one public servant are selected each year as recipients of these awards.

Jeaneen Zappa, KEEA's Executive Director, praised the 2023 Energy Efficiency Champions, stating, "Whether they’re in the private sector or public servants, our 2023 Energy Efficiency Champions exemplify the leadership needed to create a clean, just, and resilient energy economy for Pennsylvania and beyond.”

The director added that the broader adoption of energy efficiency measures can unlock decarbonization potential and bolster tens of thousands of jobs throughout the Commonwealth.

From managing energy resources to grid stability, Zappa says, “energy efficiency is more relevant than ever.”

Throughout 2023, ELEDLights and the company’s leadership have been vocal advocates for policies promoting greater access to energy efficiency services. On behalf of KEEA, ELEDLights hosted nonpartisan candidate education events at their Hatboro headquarters.

Additionally, they voiced their support for the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative through legislative meetings and letters to the editor, demonstrating their commitment to advancing energy efficiency in Pennsylvania.

ELEDLights has served as a resource for KEEA's policy team this year, offering expert insights and continuous support.

ELEDLights is a Pennsylvania-based provider of cutting-edge LED lighting solutions and lighting design services.

With a strong focus on improving energy efficiency, ELEDLights collaborates with local businesses and organizations to find sustainable lighting solutions that reduce energy costs and consumption.
