Sustainable Pittsburgh Now Accepting Grant Applications From Businesses, Groups, Municipalities Looking To Earn Sustainability Certification In 7 Western PA Counties

Sustainable Pittsburgh is now accepting applications from businesses, organizations, and municipalities located in Armstrong, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, or Washington Counties that are working to earn designation/certification with a Sustainable Pittsburgh Recognition Program. The deadline to apply is November 20. The certification programs include: Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant; Sustainable Pittsburgh Shop; Sustainable Pittsburgh Workplace; or Sustainable Pennsylvania. Grants of up to $3,000 are available for energy and cost savings projects. Examples of qualifying projects include: Equipment upgrades; Solar installation projects; HVAC system upgrades; and Electric vehicle charging station. Click Here for the application.
