On November 16, Penn State Extension will host a webinar on Agrivoltaics and Large-Scale Solar Facilities from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

Join the one-hour webinar to acquire a comprehensive understanding of agrivoltaics and the seamless integration of solar panels into agricultural and farmland operations.

Agrivoltaics is a term used to describe co-locating solar panels with farmland and agricultural production.  Two common methods utilized are pollinators and grazing.

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Extension are also working to understand the barriers and opportunities related to co-locating solar panels with farmland and agricultural production.

Researchers will discuss their efforts and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to participate in their research project through an anonymous survey.
