On October 26, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources issued its fifth Weekly Fall Foliage Report shows while the peak has passed, spectacular colors can still be seen the week of October 26 to November 1.

Northern oak forests have just begun to peak, offering late season sights in areas where the northern hardwoods are declining.

The best color can now be found in the southeastern third of the Keystone State from the middle and southern Appalachians to the Coastal Plain.
