Keep PA Beautiful Local Affiliates Make Nov. 15 America Recycles Day Every Day Thru Permanent Drop-Off Sites In Your Community

On November 14, America Recycles Day, a program of Keep America Beautiful, is held on and around November 15 to educate and encourage individuals to be more mindful of what they consume, where and how to properly recycle and to pledge to recycle more and recycle right in their everyday lives. Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, whose mission is to empower Pennsylvanians to keep our communities clean and beautiful, has 27 county and city affiliates servicing 36 areas. In addition to hosting one day special collections of hard to recycle items, such as tires and appliances, many affiliates operate permanent drop off locations, making it convenient to recycle right every day. Keep Allentown Beautiful, Keep Centre County Beautiful, Keep Cumberland County Beautiful, Keep Dauphin County Beautiful, PA CleanWays of Elk County, Keep Fayette County Green, Keep Lancaster County Beautiful, PA CleanWays of Venango County and Westmoreland Cleanways and Recycling operate permanent drop-off recycling centers where residents can drop various recyclables at their convenience.
