The following DEP notices were published in the December 9 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the December 9 PA Bulletin inviting comments at a January 23 hearing on the RACT III, Title V Air Quality Permit and State Implementation Plan Revision for the Transcontinental Gas Pipeline, LLC - Frazer Facility Compressor Station in East Whiteland Township, Chester County.  (PA Bulletin, page 7674Read more here.

-- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the December 9 PA Bulletin that it had disapproved an Act 2 Land Recycling Risk Assessment at the ARG Refinery in Bradford, McKean County on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylenes (total), Cumene (Isopropylbenzene), Methyl tert-Butyl Ether, Naphthalene, Trimethyl benzene, 1,2,4-(Trimethyl benzene, 1,3,4-), Trimethyl benzene, 1,3,5-, Fluorene, Phenanthrene, Anthracene, Pyrene, Chrysene, Benzo(a)- anthracene, Benzo(b)fluoranthene, Benzo(a)pyrene, Benzo- (g,h,i)perylene and groundwater: Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylenes (total), Cumene (Isopropylbenzene), Methyl tert-Butyl Ether, Naphthalene, Trimethyl benzene, 1,2,4-(Trimethyl benzene, 1,3,4-), Trimethyl benzene, 1,3,5-, Phenanthrene, Pyrene, Chrysene for EU-1W.  (PA Bulletin, page 7664)

--  The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the December 9 PA Bulletin that it had disapproved an Act 2 Land Recycling Final Report for the Penneco Oil Company Kenneth D. Mumanu 1 Well Site in Grant Township, Indiana County on remediation of soil contaminated with Aluminum, Barium, Boron, Chloride, Iron, Lithium, Manganese, Seleium, Strontium, Vanadium, and Zinc for the site located in Grant Twp., Indiana County.  (PA Bulletin, page 7664)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Rylee Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated by the release of production wastewater at the pad located in Auburn Twp., Susquehanna County.  (PA Bulletin, page 7662)

-- Seneca Resources Company, LLC - Beechwood Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater at the pad located in Shippen Twp., Cameron County.  (PA Bulletin, page 7662)

-- Eco-Energy Philadelphia Ethanol Terminal: DEP issued a Technical Deficiency Letter related to a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with benzo(a)pyrene, arsenic, thallium and benzene for the facility located at 4099 South Columbus Blvd, in Philadelphia.  (PA Bulletin, page 7665)

-- Seneca Resources Company LLC - Covington Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater at the pad located in Covington Twp., Tioga County. (PA Bulletin, page 7664)

-- Eastern Gas Transmission & Storage, Inc. - Crayne Compressor Station: DEP invites comments on a proposed Air Quality Plan Approval application for the compressor station located in Franklin Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 7632)

-- UGI LNG, Inc. - Natural Gas LNG Facility: DEP invites comments on the renewal of a State Only Air Quality Permit for the facility located in Ontelaunee Twp., Berks County.   (PA Bulletin, page 7636)
