Commonwealth Financing Authority Awards $320 Million In Federal American Rescue Plan Funding For Water Infrastructure Projects

On December 20, the Commonwealth Financing Authority announced the award of $320 million in federal American Rescue Plan funding for water infrastructure projects through two programs--

-- $105.6 Million: PA Small Water and Sewer Program – 415 projects approved. The program provides funding to assist with the construction, improvement, expansion, or rehabilitation/repair of a water supply system, sanitary sewer system, storm sewer system, or flood control projects.

-- $214.4 Million: H2O PA – Water Supply, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Water Projects – 209 projects approved. The program provides funding to assist with the construction of drinking water, sanitary sewer and stormwater projects.
