DEP Reviewing Act 2 Cleanup Reports For Trainer Refinery, Delaware County; Philadelphia Energy Solutions Refinery

The Department of Environmental Protection published notices in the January 6 PA Bulletin announcing it has received Act 2 Land Recycling Program brownfield cleanup reports for two refinery sites in Southeast PA--

-- Monroe Energy, LLC - Trainer Refinery Tank 95: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with crude oil at the facility located in Trainer Borough, Delaware County.  (PA Bulletin, page 53)

The report is intended to document remediation of the site to meet statewide health standards.

-- Philadelphia Energy Solutions Refinery: DEP received a Remedial Investigation Report on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with lead and petroleum at the facility located at 3144 Passyunk Ave., Philadelphia.  (PA Bulletin, page 53)

The report is intended to document remediation of the site to meet the site-specific cleanup standard.
