Highlights of the environmental and energy notices in the January 6 PA Bulletin-- -- PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment - January 6 [PaEN] -- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin announcing it has disapproved an Act 2 Land Recycling Risk Assessment December 21 on remediation of soil and groundwater contamination at the American Refining Group, Inc. Refinery in the City of Bradford, McKean County. DEP said the report did not demonstrate attainment of the site-specific Act 2 Land Recycling Standard. (PA Bulletin, page 54) Read more here. -- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin announcing it has received a Final Act 2 Land Recycling Report on remediation of soil contaminated with crude oil at the Trainer Refinery Tank 95 operated by Monroe Energy, LLC located in Trainer Borough, Delaware County. (PA Bulletin, page 53) -- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin announcing it has received an Act 2 Land Recycling Program Remedial Investigation Report on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with lead and petroleum at the Philadelphia Energy Solutions Refinery located at 3144 Passyunk Ave. in Philadelphia. (PA Bulletin, page 53) -- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin it is now accepting applications for Act 101 County Recycling Coordinator Grants. The deadline to apply is April 30. Read more here. -- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin it is now accepting applications for 2023 reimbursement for the Municipal and Hazardous Waste Host Municipality Inspectors Program. The deadline for applications is March 31. Read more here. -- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin updating the list of companies certified to perform radon-related activities. (PA Bulletin, page 64) -- The PA Emergency Management Agency published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin it is now accepting applications for the State Disaster Recovery Assistance from homeowners and renters when other federal, state, local, nongovernmental or private aid is not available to assist victims of disasters. Read more here. -- The Governor’s Executive Board published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin of the reorganization of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. -- The Department of Community and Economic Development published notice in the January 6 PA Bulletin announcing it will be accepting applications from eligible applicants to apply to become Weatherization Assistance Program administrator. Applications will be accepted from January 22 to March 21.
