The following notices were published in the February 17 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the February 17 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a major amendment to the Chapter 102 permit for the Mariner East II Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline in West Goshen Township, Chester County.  (PA Bulletin, page 850)

The purpose of the proposed amendment is for the installation of Best Management Practices on property owned by Sunoco in order to comply with the West Goshen Township Stormwater Ordinance.  Read more here.

-- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the February 17 PA Bulletin inviting comments and scheduled a hearing for March 20-- if requested-- on a proposed change to an existing Title V Air Quality Permit for the Eastern Gas Transmission & Storage, Inc. -- The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the February 17 PA Bulletin announcing it has issued a Technical Deficiency letter to Equitrans on the Final Act 2 Land Recycling Report on remediation of soil contaminated with chloride, aluminum, boron, barium, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, zinc, acetone, xylenes, 2-butanone (MEK), and carbon disulfide to the Statewide Health Standards for the George Reade conventional gas well at the Rager Mountain Gas Storage Facility located in Jackson Twp., Cambria County.   (PA Bulletin, page 835)

-- The Public Utility Commission published notice in the February 17 PA Bulletin seeking public comments on a petition by the Williams Companies, Inc. to declare that two planned 11 MW solar energy facilities not directly connected to a distribution system qualify to generate Solar Alternative Energy Credits under the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards.

The solar energy facilities are proposed to provide electric to Transco natural gas compressor stations in Columbia (Station 610) and Wyoming (Station 605) counties.  Read more here.

-- The Public Utility Commission published notice in the February 17 PA Bulletin seeking public comments concerning a proposed $250,000 settlement related to the over-pressurization of the Peoples Natural Gas distribution system serving the community of Robinson, Indiana County, that caused a wide range of damage to utility and customer equipment.  Read more here.
