The federal Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement is now accepting applications for the Watershed Cooperative Agreement Program Grants. The deadline to apply is May 1.
The program provides up to $100,000 in funding to nonprofit organizations for the construction of acid mine drainage treatment facilities that help restore the health of local streams.
