The following DEP notices were published in the March 30 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities. Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments. Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups -- Coterra Energy, Inc. - Diaz Family 2 Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with hydraulic fluid to meet the Statewide Health Standard at the pad located in Bridgewater Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, page 1754) -- Philadelphia Energy Solutions Refining & Marketing, LLC - 860 Unit Cooling Tower and Hartranft Street, Point Breeze South Yard: DEP received a Final Report on the remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with petroleum to the Statewide Health Standard for the facility located at 3144 Passyunk Ave., Philadelphia. (PA Bulletin, page 1754) -- EQT Corporation - Bristonia Road Incident: DEP received a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with chloride, aluminum, barium, boron, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium and zinc to the Statewide Health Standards at the property located in Center Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 1755) -- CNX Gas Company, LLC - MAJ 18 Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, barium, boron, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, and zinc to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Richhill Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 1755) -- CNX Gas Company, LLC - GH 5 Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, barium, boron, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, and zinc to meet the Statewide Health Standard at the pad located in Center Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 1755) -- Olympus Energy - Calliope Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, barium, boron, chloride, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, zinc, benzene, tert-butylbenzene, sec-butylbenzene, cyclohexane, ethylbenzene, isopropylbenzene (cumene), naphthalene, toluene, total, xylenes, trimethylbenzene, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene, 1,3,5-, acenaphthene, anthracene, benzo(a)anthracene, benzo(a)- pyrene, benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(g,h,i)perylene, biphenyl, chrysene, fluoranthene, fluorene, indeno(1,2,3-cd) pyrene, 2-methylnaphthalene, phenanthrene, phenol and pyrene to meet the Statewide Health and Background Standards at the pad located in Upper Burrell Twp., Westmoreland County. (PA Bulletin, page 1755) -- Coterra Energy, Inc. - R.Warrier 2 Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated by the release of wastewater to the Statewide Health and Background Standards that was discovered at the pad on July 26, 2022 located in Dimock Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, page 1756) -- Diversified Production LLC - Hetrick 3 Conventional Gas Well: DEP approved a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with Aluminum, Barium, Boron, Chloride, Iron, Lithium, Manganese, Selenium, Strontium, Vanadium, and Zinc to meet Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Washington Twp., Jefferson County. (PA Bulletin, page 1756) -- CNX Gas Company LLC - RHL 8 Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, barium, boron, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, and zinc to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Richhill Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 1757) 2024 Act 2 Oil & Gas Facility Pollution Cleanups-- So far in 2024, DEP received or acted on 90 Act 2 Land Recycling notices related to oil and gas facility site cleanups. Air Quality Permits -- Eastern Gas Transmission & Storage, Inc. - Oakford Compressor Station: DEP invites comments on the renewal of a Title V Air Quality permit covering multiple sources of air pollution at the facility located in Salem Twp., Westmoreland County. (PA Bulletin, page 1729) -- Pin Oak Energy Partners, LLC - Wall Compressor Station: DEP issued a GP5A Air Quality General Permit for a change of ownership at the facility located in Big Beaver Borough, Beaver County. (PA Bulletin, page 1758) -- Adelphia Pipeline Marcus Hook: DEP issued an Air Quality Plan Approval Extension covering a natural gas compressor station and metering station in Lower Chichester Twp., Delaware County. (PA Bulletin, page 1759) -- Elkhorn Gas Processing LLC - Keystone Facility: DEP issued an Air Quality Permit covering multiple sources of air pollution at the Keystone Facility located in Pleasant Twp., Warren County. (PA Bulletin, page 1760) -- Caithness Moxie Freedom Gas-fired Power Plant: DEP amended an Air Quality Permit to include an additional Plan Approval for the facility located in Salem Twp., Luzerne County. (PA Bulletin, page 1761) -- Marcus Hook Terminal: DEP issued a revised Air Quality Operating Permit for the facility located in Marcus Hook Borough, Delaware County.
