Natural Areas Assn. Hosts 2-Part Webinar Series - Embracing The Power Of Nature For Watershed Recovery

The Natural Areas Association will host a two-part webinar series April 22 and May 7 on Embracing The Power Of Nature For Watershed Recovery at Noon both days.

The series will delve more deeply into some techniques, including how to strategically utilize materials found in nature to restore watersheds and create land and water features that will mitigate future damage.

This approach is not only steeped in Indigenous Knowledge, but it's also more practical, better for nature, and more cost-effective than some modern engineering approaches.

This series is specifically important to practitioners in Pennsylvania as it's such a water resource-centric state.

Discover how materials found in nature, if utilized strategically, will not only help in restoring watersheds, but can also assist in creating land and water features that will mitigate future damage.

This approach is not only steeped in Indigenous Knowledge, but it's also more practical, better for nature, and more cost-effective than some modern engineering approaches.
