Pennsylvania Leads the Nation in College RecycleMania Participation

Pennsylvania leds the country in the number of colleges and universities participating in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s RecycleMania 2007 challenge.

Twenty schools in Pennsylvania have joined the competition which will end April 7.

RecycleMania, a competition among colleges and universities to see which schools can collect the most recyclables over a 10-week period, is organized and operated by university recycling coordinators and endorsed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's WasteWise program and other organizations.
