PA Solar Center, Philadelphia Solar Energy Assn., Partners Host Aug. 14 Webinar To Get Eligible Schools Ready To Apply For The New PA Solar For Schools Grants

This Philadelphia Solar Week, join the PA Solar Center, Philadelphia Solar Energy Association, Philadelphia Energy Authority and the Philadelphia Green Capital Corp for an August 14 webinar on the new PA Solar For Schools Program starting at 9:00 a.m..

The program will offer $25 million in grants to help install solar energy facilities at public schools, charter schools, community colleges and other technical schools.

Prime sponsor of the bipartisan legislation Rep. Elizabeth Fiedler (D-Philadelphia) will kick off the event and the Philadelphia Solar Energy Association will share their Solar Schools Toolkit.

The webinar will provide school communities with an introduction to the grant and resources to get ready to apply.
