North Branch Land Trust Hosts Third Annual NEPA Barn Banquet To Celebrate Local Agriculture Sept. 17 In Luzerne County

On August 15, the North Branch Land Trust announced its third Annual NEPA Barn Banquet, a dinner event celebrating Pennsylvania’s vibrant agricultural heritage and the Land Trust’s dedication to conserving agricultural lands.

Scheduled for September 17 at Friedman Farms in Dallas, Luzerne County, the NEPA Barn Banquet will offer an unforgettable evening featuring a three-course buffet, expertly designed and prepared by Bank & Vine.

Attendees will also enjoy the opportunity to win a variety of gifts in both a raffle and live auction.

Executive Director Ellen Ferretti said, “This event is more than just a gathering; it reflects North Branch Land Trust’s deep-rooted commitment to preserving working lands that sustain our community.”

The Land Trust, with the aid of dedicated partners and supporters, has a long history of championing local farms and farmers as part of its commitment to conservation and stewardship in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

North Branch Land Trust extends our heartfelt gratitude to our event sponsors DiscoverNEPA, Earth Conservancy, PNC Bank, and the Tambur Family Foundation.

Additional thanks to Friedman Farms and Friedman Hospitality Group for their generous support, which has made this celebration of local and Pennsylvania agriculture—and the stunning beauty of Friedman Farm—possible.

Join us in honoring the past, present, and future of Pennsylvania’s agricultural landscape.
